Radnage W.I. met in the Village Hall on Wednesday 5th March 2008, at 7.15pm, our Speaker, Linda Travers –Smith, Water colour Artist, was already putting out her painting equipment.
We had several visitors for the evening, some of whom wished to take part in the painting session. Many of us who had originally thought that a bit of “hands on” experience with a paint brush was a good idea, were now beginning to regret our decision, and were more than a little concerned that our “Master pieces” were perhaps not going to be so masterly!! However Linda, a very friendly person, first told us about her own artistic background. In the main she is self taught, but has attended art courses as and when they were pertinent to her style of work.
